IPFW Softball HR Record Set In Loss To Nebraska-Omaha (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - IPFW senior Ashleigh Bousquet broke the school career home run record, passing Kristina Karpun with her 27th home run of her career; however, it was not enough as the Mastodons fell in the series finale with Nebraska-Omaha by a 6-3 score on Saturday.

Ashleigh Bousquet was 2-for-3 at the plate, while Hillary Kartman was 2-for-4, each hitting a home run.

IPFW returns to action on Friday and Saturday with a three game series at North Dakota State.
