IPFW Soccer Men Head To Summit League Tourney; Women Fall In Tourney Final

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - IPFW will take part in the Summit League men's postseason soccer tournament this coming weekend.

The Dons' though just 4-14-1, raised their record to 3-3-1 in the Summit League with a 1-0 win over IUPUI Saturday night on Mitch Falkenstern's goal with nine minutes remaining.

That win gave the Dons the fourth and final spot in the conference tournament at Western Illinois, where they will play top seeded Oakland in the semifinals on Friday night.

On Sunday, the IPFW women fell to Oakland 2-0 in the championship game of the Summit League Women's Tounament in Brookings, South Dakota, and were denied a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

IPFW finished the season at 10-8-1.
