IPFW Ousted From Summit League Women's Soccer Tourney

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - IPFW fell in the opening round of the Summit League postseason women's soccer tournament to 14th ranked Denver 3-0 on Friday.

The loss ends IPFW's season with a 6-12-1 record, while Denver advances to the championship match.

The Pioneers got their first goal of the tournament from Summit League Player of the Year Kristen Hamilton in the 41st minute of the match, putting the top seed ahead 1-0, an advantage they held at halftime.

In the second half the Pioneers added a penalty kick goal, and another score from Hamilton..

IPFW managed one shot in the match.
