IPFW Men, Women Impressive Winners (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind.(21 Alive) IPFW hit 63 percent of its shots in the first half en route to their 86-65 victory over Eastern Illinois Panthers on Saturday.

The win improves IPFW to 10-4 on the year, tied for the best 14-game start to a season since the program became a member of NCAA Division I in 2001-02. The start is also the fourth-best in the entire history of the program.

Steve Forbes scored a career-high 20 points for IPFW, hitting 6-of-8 shots from the field and all eight of his charity stripe attempts. Luis Jacobo added 18 points, while Isaiah McCray scored 15 and Mo Evans twelve..

The Mastodons next see action Eastern Kentucky at home on December 29th.

DETROIT, Mich. - It was a day of career-high performances for the IPFW women as they extended their winning streak to three games with an 84-73 victory over Detroit Saturday.

Amanda Hyde came one assist shy of the first triple-double in program history as she finished the day with 23 points, a career-high 13 rebounds, and nine assists.

Haley Seibert connected on a career-high six three-pointers as she finished with a season-best 22 points and dishing out four assists.

IPFW next sees action on December 29th at home against Ball State.
