Huntington's Kennedy MCC Male Athlete Of The Year

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The 2011-12 Mid Central Conference Male Student-Athlete of the Year is Caleb Kennedy of Huntington University.

Kennedy excelled in his final season at Huntington and was recognized as a First Team NAIA All-American selection, Conference Player of the Year, Conference All-Defensive Team selection, and MCC, as well as NAIA, Player of the Week honors.

Kennedy led the Foresters in scoring (20.29 ppg) and rebounding (8.55 rpg) for the 2011-12 year, and was a central figure in Huntington’s successes. In his final season at Huntington Kennedy ranked 7th in defensive rebounds per game, and 13th in scoring in NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball.

Kennedy finishes his career as a Forester with 1,494 career points, placing him 21st on Huntington’s all-time scoring
