Hogue Pushing To Play As True Freshman At Ball State (VIDEO)

MUNCIE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Former New Haven football standout Jordan Hogue is making a case for not being redshirted as a freshman at Ball State.

Hogue, thought to be a sure redshirt candidate to help him get physically stronger and adjust to the college game, has been taking snaps with the second team receivers, and Cardinal coach Pete Lembo admits Hogue is making a big bid to play as a true freshman.

Hogue sees the value of redshirting, but adds he wants to play.
