Former USF, IPFW A.D. Pope Named Sun Conference Commissioner

DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA – Former Saint Francis and IPFW athletic director Mark Pope has been named the new commissioner for The Sun Conference, an eleven school NAIA league based in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Pope retired in February as the USF athletic director after four years. and held the same position at IPFW for six years before that.

The Sun Cenference is made up of nine schools in Florida, one in Georgia, and one in South Carolina.
