Former Irish, Colts QB Blair Kiel Dead At 50

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Blair Kiel, a quarterback in college at Notre Dame and later in the NFL with the Colts, Bucs, and Packers, died in a Columbus, Indiana hospital Sunday at the age of 50.

Kiel was a four year starter at Notre Dame and then had seven seasons in the NFL.

His nephew, Gunner Kiel, is currently a freshman quarterback at Notre Dame.
