Ball State Out Fast In Fall Practice (VIDEO)

MUNCIE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Ball State opened fall football practice this week, and impressed head coach Pete Lembo as he kicked off his fourth season with the Cardinals.

Lembo said his team was already sharp enough that they looked like they had already gone through two weeks of fall camp.

The Cards' family type atmosphere apparently has spilled over into unified workouts in the offseason that helped keep them sharp.

They open the season August 30th against Colgate.
