Ball State Edges Indiana On Last Second Field Goal

(Bloomington, Indiana) -- Indiana scored two touchdowns over a three minute and eighteen second span in the fourth quarter to take a 39 - 38 lead over Ball Sate, but kicker Steven Schott drilled a 42 - yard field goal as time expired and the Cardinals eked out a 41 - 39 victory over the Hoosiers in Bloomington. BSU quarterback Keith Wenning threw for 22 yards and three touchdowns for the 2 - 1 Cards. IU fell to 2 - 1 for the season.
