FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - A sports memorabilia auction that also featured sports art, tickets, and other items, raised almost $50,000 for the Neal Delagrange Golf Classic and its primary cause, Special Olympics Sunday night.

Indiana basketball coach Tom Crean appeared to bolster the event, and talk about his much improved basketball team.

The event, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars since its inception in the 1990s, concludes Monday with the annual celebrity golf tournament.

Indiana's NewsCenter is a sponsor of the event.
