(Fort Wayne) - Butler designated hitter Blaine DeCamp went 5-7 and scored four runs to help lead the Bulldogs past IPFW, 18-7 Wednesday afternoon at Mastodon Field.

The Bulldogs broke open a close game with 14 unanswered runs over three innings to coast to the win.

The Dons opened the scoring in the bottom of the first on a solo home run by first baseman Chris Gottschall. It was Gottschall's fourth homer of the season.

Butler got that one back in the top of the second and plated three more in the 3rd inning to take a 4-1 lead, and rolled on from that point.

IPFW returns to Summit League play, hosting Southern Utah this weekend at Mastodon Field.
