USF Women Advance To National Championship

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (21Alive) - The University Saint Francis women's basketball team is one win from an NAIA Division II National Championship game after beating Cardinal Stritch, 68-64, on Monday night.

The Lady Cougars were led by Kalah Baer with 16 points. Paige Frisch and Jennelle Wilson both had 15 points. Skylarr Shurn added 12.

Michelle Piepenburg scored 16 points, Becky Gilbreath netted 15 points and Emily Neitzel had 12 points for Stritch.

USF, now 37-0, will play College of the Ozarks in the title game at 8 p.m. Fort Wayne time, Tuesday.
