INDIANAPOLIS (www.incnow.tv) - Four universities will continue their in-state rivalries in a men's basketball series, the schools jointly announced Monday.
The Crossroads Classic has been extended through 2016, adding a doubleheader featuring Butler, Indiana, Notre Dame and Purdue for two more seasons.
Purdue vs. Butler and Indiana vs. Notre Dame will be the 2015 match-ups. The Boilermakers vs. the Fighting Irish and the Hoosiers vs. the Bulldogs will be the 2016 slate.
The Crossroads Classic, played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, started in 2010. An average of more than 19,000 fans from the basketball crazy Hoosier State attend the games.
