GEORGETOWN, Ky. (AP) - Indiana University basketball recruit Bud
Mackey was arrested on drug charges Friday after police allegedly
found him with crack cocaine while he was at school in Kentucky.

Police charged the 18-year-old high school senior with one count
of trafficking a controlled substance and one count of trafficking
within 1,000 yards of a school.

Scott County Jail Deputy Bobby Townsend said the amount of
cocaine on Mackey at the time of his arrest was not available.

Mackey verbally committed to Indiana last year and planned to
sign a letter of intent in November. He also had received
scholarship offers from Florida, Tennessee, Xavier and Clemson
among other schools.
