Blackmon Jr. Named McDonald's All-American

MARION, Ind. (21Alive) - Marion High School boys basketball guard James Blackmon Jr. was named Wednesday a 2014 McDonald's All-American.

Blackmon, a senior, is averaging 35.7 points per game, which ranks him third in the state of Indiana.

Blackmon is committed to Indiana University.

He played three years at Bishop Luers High School before transferring.

The boys McDonald's High School All-American Game is Apr. 2 from the United Center in Chicago.
