Girls Basketball Player of the Week: West Noble's Kelsie Peterson - Feb. 12

LIGONIER, Ind. (21Alive) - The 21Alive/Parkview Sports Medicine Girls Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 12 is West Noble High School point guard Kelsie Peterson.

Peterson, a senior, scored 34 of the Lady Chargers' 51 points and 11 steals in a loss Friday night at Westview.

In addition to her 20 points per game average, Peterson leads the state in steals.

West Noble lost Tuesday in overtime to Whitko in the first round of sectionals, ending Peterson's high school career. Peterson finishes as the all-time steals leader in school history.

Peterson is undecided on her plans after high school.
