FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - A Dustin Peterson throwing error in the fifth inning allowed the tiebreaking run to score, as the West Michigan Whitecaps edged the TinCaps 7-6 Sunday.

The play capped a five run inning for West Michigan that wiped out a 5-1 TinCaps lead forged in the fourth inning.

Ryan Miller's two run homer put the TinCaps in front in the fourth, and they added an Edwin Moreno RBI double and a run scoring groundout to forge their 5-1 advantage,

But then Jeff Holm, who had homered in the top of the fourth, smacked a two run singe to start the ball rolling on the five run fifth that put West Michigan in front for good.

The TinCaps have the day off Monday before heading to Great Lakes to start a three game series Tuesday night.
