FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- A pair of Hoosiers helped lead the TinCaps to a 7 - 0 win over the Lake County Captains on Tuesday night at Parkview Field. Starting pitcher Kyle Lloyd threw four scoreless innings on the mound, while at the plate, Ossian's Josh VanMeter hit a home run, his first as a TinCap.

A two - run double by Dustin Peterson in the bottom of the first inning gave the TinCaps a 2 - 0 and it would be 3 - 0 after one inning. VanMeter belted his homer in the fourth and Fort Wayne cruised the rest of the way. Now 16 - 21, the TinCaps go for a sweep of the three - game series this morning with first pitch at 11:05 am.
