VMI Ends IPFW Postseason Run (VIDEO)

LEXINGTON, Va. (21 Alive) - IPFW men's basketball's record breaking season came to an end Saturday as the Mastodons fell 106-95 to the VMI Keydets in the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.

Luis Jacobo scored a career-high 30 points in his final collegiate game, and grabbed eleven rebounds, while Joe Edwards scored 14, Pierre Bland 13, Joe Reed eleven, and Steve Forbes ten.

The loss ends the Mastodon season with a 25-11 record, a program record for victories in a season, after winning the program's first postseason game three days earlier.

D.J. Covington scored a game-high 41 points for VMI, while QJ Peterson added 25.
