CLINTON, Ia. (21 Alive) - Fernando Perez singled home Josh VanMeter with the tiebreaking run in the eleventh inning as the TinCaps evened their series with the Clinton Lumberkings with a 6-4 win on Saturday.

Franmil Reyes' two run homer in the seventh had pushed the Caps to a 3-2 lead, but Fort Wayne had to rally to tie the game in the ninth on a fielder's choice after Clinton had scored twice in the eighth to regain the lead.

The two teams wind up the series on Sunday, which also ends the TinCaps' first road trip of the season.
