FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Armando Araiza had four of Bowling Green's 22 hits off TinCaps pitching Sunday and drove in two runs as the Hot Rods pounded the Caps 12-3 in the first half finale for both teams.

The Midwest League now takes a three day hiatus for the All Star Game at West Michigan Tuesday night.

Mallex Smith had two hits for the TinCaps in his final game with the team before leaving on a promotion to High A Lake Alsinore.

He will still play in the All Star game as the Caps' lone position player participant.
