COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (21 Alive) - Adolfo Reina and Jakes Bauers each drove in two runs and Peyton Baskette recovered from a tough start to pitch six solid innings as the TinCaps downed West Michigan 4-2 Sunday for a split of their four games series with the Whitecaps.

Bauers singled home the first run in the first inning, and Reina's two run homer in the third put Fort Wayne in front for good.

A Bauers RBI groundout in the fifth produced the final TinCaps run.

Baskette was followed by Eric Yardley and Nick Mutz who combined for three shutout innings in relief.

The TinCaps have Monday off before starting a three game series with Dayton at home Tuesday night.
