FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - The TinCaps toojk a 4-1 setback on Sunday against the Lake County Captains, dropping three straight games after coming back to win the opener on Thursday night.

The loss kept the TinCaps two and a half games out of a second half Midwest League Eastern Division playoff spot.

Josh VanMeter's ninth inning RBI single produced the lone Fort Wayne run, after the TinCaps loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the eighth inning and failed to score.

The Caps host Great Lakes for three starting Monday night.
