FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Before a Parkview Field baseball record crowd of 9,015, the TinCaps managed just four hits in being shut out 5-0 by Dayton Thursday night.

The loss denied the Caps a three game series sweep.

Josh VanMeter had two of the four hits, including the first one of the game leading off the sixth inning.

Jon Matthews had two hits and drove in two runs to pace the Dragons.

The TinCaps now embark on a seven game road trip, starting with the first of four in South Bend Friday night.
