FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Rodney Daal snapped a 5-5 tie with a long home run in the sixth inning, and the TinCaps completed their three game sweep of the Lansing Lugnuts with a 7-5 win on Sunday.

The Caps built a 5-0 lead helped by run scoring base hits from Mallex Smith and Diego Goris, who drove in three runs in the game.

But Lansing pulled even with five in the sixth, aided by walks, shoddy defense, and the struggles of reliever John Hussey, who could not hold a lead for starter Justin Hancock.

That all changed when Daal connected in the bottom of the sixth.

The Caps head to Bowling Green to begin a brief three game road trip, with the opener of the series set for Monday night.
