FORT WAYNE, Indiana (21 Alive) - Aided by three more errors by the defensively struggling TinCaps, the Great Lakes Loons hung on for a 4-3 win over Fort Wayne Saturday night in the opener of a regular season ending three game series.

Lee Rodriguez, Tyler Ogle, and Jose Capellan each drove in runs for the Loons, who still have a shot at a second half division title.

Luis Tejada's solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning got the Caps within a run, but two outs later it was over.

Game 2 of the series is Sunday night.
