South Girls Alone At Top Of SAC: Northrop, North Side, Wayne, South Side, New Haven Boys Win

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - South Side's girls are the undisputed leaders of SAC girls basketball with their win over Snider Friday night, while the Northrop, North Side, Wayne, South Side, and New Haven boys all added wins.

Brittni Clopton put up 20 points, ten in each half, and South Side topped Snider 51-44 to be the only unbeaten team in the SAC.

Ariana Simmons added 14 points for the Archers, while Meredith Shipman had 14 for the Panthers.

Bryson Scott unloaded 35 points on Bishop Luers and led Northrop to their 95-59 romp over the Knights.

Brenton Scott added 24 for the Bruins, while James Blackmon paced Luers with 30.

North Side handed Concordia its first SAC loss of the season 66-58, led by Dwight Richards' 19 points.

T.J. McCall and Brian Gremaux each had 25 for the Cadets.

Jescus Mitchell put up 24 points and Justin Mitchell 17 in Wayne's 66-59 win over Bishop Dwenger.

Eric Hairston counted 24 points and Domonique Gleason 20 as South Side scored its second straight win after opening the season 0-9 71-70 over Snider, who got 13 each from Trey'von Covington and Stephen Halstead.

V.J. Beachem had 18 points and Jordan Hogue 17 to help New Haven to their 61-50 win at Carroll.

Mason Miller was tops for Carroll with 15.
