NOTRE DAME, Ind. (21 Alive) - Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees was in less pain Sunday from the neck strain suffered Saturday night on a sack in the third quarter of his team's 14-10 win over USC.
Rees left the game and never returned.
Coach Brian Kelly said in his Sunday teleconference that Rees was day to day and that he expected Rees would be back at practice Tuesday with an eye on playing at Air Force on Saturday.
