Purdue Tops Siena To Finish 7th At Old Spice Classic

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (21 Alive) - Purdue had to rally to top Siena 68-63 Sunday in the seventh place game at the Old Spice Classic.

A.J. Hammons had 16 points to lead the Boilers who trailed the Siena team late that it beat at home seven days earlier.

Basil Smotherman's dunk with 28 seconds left snapped a 63-tie, and the Boilermakers went on to the win that was their first away from Mackey Arena and moved their record to 6-2.
