Purdue Rally Falls Short At Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (21 Alive) - Purdue rallied from 16 points down in the second half, but came up short 82-79 at Minnesota on Sunday.

Austin Hollins led the Gophers with 18 points, and to a 70-54 lead in the second half, but the Boilermakers twice got within four points before Minnesota salted the game away at the free throw line.

Terone Johnson led Purdue with 18 points, while younger brother Ronnie Johnson added twelve.

Purdue fell to 10-5 and 0-2 in the Big Ten.
