Purdue Outlasts Western Michigan

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Danny Etling threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as Purdue held off Western Michigan 43-34 Saturday in both teams' season opener.

Raheem Mostert and Akeem Hunt each added rushing scores for the Boilermakers, with Mostert gaining 146 yards and Hunt 78.

Homestead alum Zach Terrell threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns for the visiting Broncos
