WEST LAFAYETTE (www.incnow.tv) - Cameron Ayers popped home 18 points and Bucknell pulled a 70-65 upset on Purdue Friday night in the season opener for both teams.

Purdue, who did not have scoring leader Terone Johnson because of a bad ankle, squandered a six point halftime lead.

Donnie Hale scored 15 points to pace Purdue with D.J. Byrd and Ronnie Johnson each adding a dozen.

Former South Side star Rapheal Davis had four points in his official Purdue debut.
