Patriots, Blount End Colts' Season

FOXBORO, Mass. (21 Alive) - Legarrette Blount rambled for 166 yards and four touchdowns in leading the New England Patriots past the Colts 43-22 in an AFC Divisional playoff game Saturday night.

Blount ran for his first three scores, each of two yards in length, by the time the game had reached the early second quarter, and he clinched the game early in the fourth quarter by rambling 73 yards for his fourth and final touchdown.

Steven Ridley also scored twice for the Patriots.

Andrew Luck threw two touchdown passes to Lavon Brazile and for 331 yards, but he also threw three interceptions, two of which led to New England touchdowns.

The Patriots will meet the winner of Sunday's San Diego-Denver game in the AFC Championship game next weekend.

Earlier in the day, Marshawn Lynch ran for two touchdowns as the Seattle Seahawks downed the New Orleans Saints 23-15 to advance to next weekend's NFC Championship game, where they will host either San Francisco or Carolina
