NOTRE DAME (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Notre Dame star wide receiver Michael Floyd has been suspended indefinately by Irish football coach Brian Kelly after Floyd's early Sunday arrest and jailing on drunk driving charges.

In January, following a great junior season, Floyd said he would retyrn to Notre Dame for his senior year and put his National Football League career hopes on hold for a year.

He was still on probation at Notre Dame for an underage drinking charge in Minnesota 13 months ago, and had had another similar charge a year earlier.

Floy'd goes to court in May on the latest charges, but his time at Notre Dame will be affected by what the school's Office of Residence Life chooses to do, and it might not go well for Floyd with mulitple violations on his record.
