Notre Dame QB Rees Bonded Out After Arrest

SOUTH BEND (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Notre Dame junior quarterback Tommy Rees is free on $250 bond after an early morning arrest near a party broken up by police.

The party was at a house where his Notre Dame teammate wide receiver and Bosop Dwenger grad John Goodman lives.

Rees faces four misdemeanor charges stemming from underage drinking to running away from police.

He initially faced a feloney charge alleging he had a physical altecation with South Bend police, but that charge was taken down to a misdemeanor.

Irish linebacker Carlo Calabrese was also arrested at the home and is also out on bond.

Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly says he is assembling the facts in the incident and will react when he has them.
