UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - Norwell, Heritage, Bishop Luers, South Adams, and Canterbury moved into girls basketball sectional finals with semifinal victories on Friday night.
Laken Chaney showed the way with 18 points and keyed Norwell's 61-40 win over Eastbrook at the 3A Mississinewa Sectional.
The Lady Knights advanced to meet Heritage, who won their way into the Saturday night final at Mississinewa with their 67-62 win over Whitko.
Takeya McGraw had 18 and Hannah Beckman 13 for the Lady Pats, while Cagney Craig's 20 points paced the Lady Wildcats.
Allyson Butler and Tashayla Sutorius each put in a dozen points as Bishop Luers moved closer to defending its 2A Bluffton Sectional title with a 69-37 rout of Eastside.
Waiting for Luers in the final will be Souh Adams, a 34-25 winner over Churubusco led by Alyssa Bluhm's 24 points.
Canterbury sits a win away from its tenth consecutive 1A sectional title after a 100-50 semifinal winover Lakewood Park in the Canterbury Sectional.
Darby Maggard and Bailey Farley each had 20 for the Lady Cavs, who take on Bethany Christian for that title Saturday night..
