BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (21Alive) - Indiana University women's basketball coach Curt Miller has resigned, citing health reasons.

Miller sent a letter to IU athletic director Fred Glass saying the resignation is immediate.

"This was a most difficult decision, but the right one for me and my family at this time," Miller said in his resignation letter provided by the athletic department

Miller was hired at IU in 2012, and had four years left on his contract. The Hoosiers went 21-13 with an NIT appearance last year, and 11-19 in 2012-13. Before coming to Bloomington, Miller was head coach at Bowling Green State University.
