INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Colts on Monday activated Peyton Manning from the physically unable to perform list, and he will begin practicing in a limited manner.

Manning says he will not come back until he can contribute, and if that means breking his 227 consecutive game streak, that's what will have to be.

Manning practices Monday, but will not play in the preseason finale in Cincinnati Thursday night, with Kerry Collins and Curtis Painter to divide up the work.
