Mad Ants Muster Game 1 Victory In Closing Seconds

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants sent a major message Thursday night in Game 1 of the NBA Development League Semi-Finals with Sioux Falls.

Forward Tony Mitchell scored a running lay up the backboard with 4.7 seconds left to seal a comeback.

The Ants stormed back from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to just get by Sioux Fallls, 113-111.

Mitchell scored 19 points. Sadiel Rojas led the Ants with 20.

The Ants lead the best-of-3 series, 1-0. They have an opportunity for another sweep in this playoff when they host the Skyforce in Game 2 of the semi-finals 7 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Coliseum.
