Mad Ants Hand Henry First Win As Coach (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - The Mad Ants knocked off the Erie Bayhawks 97-90 for their first win of the season Sunday night, the first win as head coach for Conner Henry.

The Ants had four players in double figures led by Ron Howard with 23.

The Ants took an early lead and kept control through the game, increasing their lead to 14 points in the second half.

Erie fought their way back with a 15-2 run. but four straight points by Ron Howard were key down the stretch to gain the win.

Trey McKinney-Jones backed Howard with 22 points, Chris Porter added 12, and Olek Czyz had 11.

The Bayhawks were led by C.J. Leslie’s 21 points.
