Luers Ready To Take Final Step To 2A Girls Title

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Stopped a game short of a 2A girls state basketball title at the Memorial Coliseum last year, Bishop Luers says coming up short this year is not an option.

The Lady Knights tangle with Brownstown Central Saturday afternoon for the 2A title, and expect a battle from a solid opponent.

But this year's Luers team is in better shape physically than last year and most importantly has the experience they feel will put them over the top this time.
