Leo, Garrett, Bellmont, Luers, Busco, Adams Central Stay Alive; East Noble Out

UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Leo, Garrett, Bellmont, Bishop Luers, Churubusco, and Adams Central will all play for football sectional championships after semifinal wins Friday night.

Ryan Leiter threw for a touchdown and ran for another, while Mike Shawd scored twice on short runs in Leo's 42-22 win at Marion.

Kyle Santilli returned an intereception 101 yards for another Leo touchdown.

The Lions host Bishop Dwenger in a 4A sectional final next Friday.

Concord built an early 28-0 lead at East Noble and rolled to a 43-16 win over the Knights, avenging a regular season loss to East Noble.

Todd Frickey returned to form with 135 rushing yards and four touchdowns as Garrett thumped Whitko 42-14 in 2A.

The Railroaders head to Jimtown for a sectional final.

Cody Walters tallied a touchdown and ran for 160 yards as Bellmont downed Yorktown in 3A 22-7, and won the right to play at Western next week in a sectional title game.

Jaylon Smith had 98 yards on the ground with a pair of touchdowns and James Knapke passed for 139 yards and a TD to help Bishop Luers past Eastside 42-7 in 2A

Jason Nicodemus had four touchdowns and 213 rushing yards as he led Churubusco over Madison-Grant 28-20 and into the 2A sectional final at Luers next week

Cody Cauble chalked up 140 rushing yards with a touchdown and Dalton Combs threw two touchdown passes in Adams Central's 55-6 rout of Fremont.

The Jets will host North Miami in a 1A sectional final.
