Lembo Gets Extension, Associate Athletic Director Title

MUNCIE, Ind. (21Alive) – Ball State University awarded football head coach Pete Lembo a five-year extension on Thursday.

Lembo will remain under contract as the Cardinals coach through 2018, the school announced.

Additionally, Lembo will add the title of Associate Athletics Director to his title.

Ball State finished 10-3 (7-1 in Mid-American Conference) and a trip to the GoDaddy Bowl. BSU lost to Arkansas State, 23-20 in the postseason.

Lembo, 43, is 25-13 in 4 seasons at Ball State. He has led the Cards to back-to-back bowl appearances.
