PRINCETON, N.J. (21Alive) - Orlando Solar Bears forward Mickey Lang was named the ECHL Most Valuable Player on Friday.

Lang, who was traded to Orlando in December after walking out on the Komets earlier in the season, led the league with 44 goals and added 33 assists (77 points) for the season. Fifty-one of the points came in 37 points with the Solar Bears.

The award is determined by ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors and members of the media.
