Lake County Comes Back Over TinCaps

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) - The Lake County Captains erased a 2-0 TinCaps lead with some late offense and downed Fort Wayne 5-2 Saturday before almost eight thousand fans at Parkview Field.

Sixth inning RBI singles from Franmil Reyes and John Nester staked the TinCaps and Kyle Lloyd to a 2-0 lead, but Lake County kayoed Lloyd one batter into the seventh, when the tied it up, and then continued against reliever Eric Yardley to take the lead in the eighth.

They added insurance in the ninth with solo home runs from Richard Stock and Claudio Bautista.

The two teams wrap up their four game series Sunday.
