FORT WAYNE (www.incnow,tv) - Andrej Nestrasil and Travis Novak each scored a pair of goal to lead the Toledo Walleye to a 9-4 rout of the Komets before over ten thousand fans at the Memorial Coliseum Monday night.

The huge New Year's Eve crowd saw the K's twice erase one goal deficits on goals by J,J, Rizk and Scott Kishel in the first period.

But then Toledo scored three times in a span of less than five minutes in the second period, and then after Matt Firman pulled the K's back within two scores late in the second, Toledo pored in four more in the third to complete the win.

Eric Giosa had the Komets' lone third period score.

The K's next play at home Wednesday night against Gwinnett.
