Komets Trim Roster To Prepare For Season

(Fort Wayne, Indiana) -- After going 2 - 1 in the pre - season, the Fort Wayne Komets reduced their roster by nine players to prepare for their ECHL season - opening game Saturday night against Toledo at Memorial Coliseum.

The K's waived or released forwards Kyle Bochek, Keegan Flaherty, Matthew Larke, Paul McIlveen, Darick Ste. - Marie, and Kevin Walrod. Defensemen Derek Foam and William Lacasse were also let go along with goalie Max Strang.
