Komets Take 5-2 Beating At Kalamazoo (VIDEO)

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (21 Alive) - The Kalamazoo Wings broke out to a 3-0 lead and went on to dump the Komets 5-2 Saturday night.

Former Komet Matt Firman had one of the Kalamazoo goals, one of five different K-Wings to beat Andrey Makarov, who turned back 32 shots.

Christian Ouellet and Jordon Southorn had the Fort Wayne goals, both in the second period.

The K's host Wheeling on Sunday.
