INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Komets for the first time this season did not win a game in which they entered the third period with the lead and lost in a shootout, 4-3 at Missouri Sunday night.

A Colin Chaulk first period goal erased a 1-0 Missouri lead, and then Jamie Milam and Bobby Chaumont scored late second period goals for a 3-1 lead after two periods.

But Missouri tied it in the third period, and after a scoreless overtime period outscored the K's 2-1 in the shootout to get the victory.

The K's next see action Friday night at home against Tulsa.
